The Rule of Law

One of the primary necessities of a civilized community is that it adheres to the law, which implies that all citizens must respect the law of the land, regardless of their status or status in the society. In the present developed nations feel happy that their society is run by the rules of law, whereas many developing nations like India are embarrassed because their societies do not adhere to the rules of law. The advanced countries are the ideal of the model for developing countries in which laws and order remains an unattainable goal.

Societies that adhere to the rule of law are usually considered to be more civilized since there is a lot more order within the society. Everything in these societies seems to be in order. The roads are well-maintained the parks and lawns are maintained well, government officials are in the office the public transportation and trains are operating at a timely pace. Furthermore, there’s virtually no corruption within public offices. The employees are paid well and have higher efficiency. They also keep their workplaces clean and neat. These societies seem ideal to people from different parts of the world who are often left wondering why they aren’t able to be like them divorce

All societies require laws for their existence. Although the laws might differ from one society to the next but there are fundamental principles that apply to all laws in the world. The fundamental principles of equality fraternity, justice, and liberty. In the Indian Constitution, as an instance includes these principles in the preamble of the constitution. It aims to ensure for all citizens justice, equality, liberty and encourage in them the spirit fraternity.

They are universal in their nature that they are a part of every society that is civilized in the world. It’s no surprise to discover that the results that the rules of law produce is opposite. The more civilized a society it is, the more inequity among its inhabitants and more injustice for those who are not wealthy, less freedom due to the strict enforcers of the law and hate among citizens due to caste, race and religion. What is wrong with the application of the the rule of law?

Law of Nature

Indian philosophers in the Vedic period, i.e. approximately 3000 years before Christ’s birth Christ found out that the universe doesn’t do its work in a random manner, but rather follows certain rules. These laws were known as “Rita” or the universal rules or principles that governed the universe. Man’s progress is largely due to knowing these fundamental principles of nature and utilizing them to the benefit of humanity but at the expense of all other creations. Man’s laws, thus, go against nature’s laws because they are based on human nature and not intended for all creatures of God and Nature.

One of the main difference between the man-made laws and nature-based laws Nature is the fact that the nature-based laws are organic and need no effort to implement. For instance in a natural area of earth such as a forest, the ground produces plants, trees and fruits, as well as vegetables in a natural way without irrigation or breeding. Nature provides regular rainfall and fertilizer for the young plants. The mountains and forests are adorned with beautiful greenery that is completely natural as it doesn’t require any effort.

Contrary to what they say, artificial creations of man, like trees, parks and even plants are manufactured. They may also appear like natural ones, but they are not able to survive without constant effort from mankind. Imagine a park that has not been maintained for a couple of months, or a home which is not maintained for many months. It will lose its splendor and will soon become a mess of dirt and the weeds. There is no modern technology or building that is able to survive without the help from the human. But all natural things can survive by themselves and sustain their existence, and even enjoy their existence without external help.

Nature’s laws are as simple as treating each species (and not just humans) in a fair and equal way. In the jungle, each species is entitled to its fair part of food, air and water, which allow their living a wholesome existence without having to depend on any other creature. Nature does not distinguish between one species, and the others, as all species are descendants from the same God.

In the man’s world, any other animal is killed if it’s not beneficial to man. They are only viable in the event that they are beneficial to man. Therefore, the world of man does not treat other creatures of nature with the respect it deserves and doesn’t grant the creatures with the rights of equality freedom, justice, or fraternity. He cleverly rewrites the universal law and makes it only applicable to humans. For all other species, he has crafted the man-made law, calling the law of jungle or the survival of the strongest’ that is a reason to justify his dominance over weak creations. However, the reality, contrary lies in the fact that laws of the jungle are more fair and universally applicable to every species than any man-made law.

A majority of men do not care about how they treat animals of lesser species because they believe that the”survival of the strongest” concept is more rational than natural laws. But, they do not realize that every rule of law that is created in the universe needs to be applied to them as well and that they might not always benefit from it. Man-made-laws don’t stop at animals, but they quickly extend their wings to human beingsas well. Conflicts between men and women begin which can lead to hatred and conflicts. Man feels the sting whenever the rule of the jungle is applied to them, and the natural law is ignored by the society. He gets injured to be treated as plants by society.

Weeds: The Undesirable Plants of Nature?

The most intriguing natural creations is the weed. Weeds are undesirable species within the realm of plants. They are plants that are not appreciated by humans and tends to grow too large or compete with flora that is valued. These are the plants that are perceived by humans as ugly, unattractive or even a menace.

In nature humans have to constantly battle against weeds in order for their artificial plants live. They grow naturally and if artificial gardens are not supported by the power of man, they are quickly overwhelmed by weeds and the entire landscape is saturated of the weeds. They are the work of Nature (God) and there is no human effort required to create they. However, they are powerful enough that man must to constantly keep his creation safe from plants, so that all the civilization’s work is destroyed. They are just as unwelcome to the human race and plants in their natural world as are criminals in our human society.

Criminals: The Necessary Evil for the Civil Society

Like weeds in nature There is an increase of criminals within civilized societies. Who are these criminals? Why do they increase in number? It is not clear if criminals are healthy or mentally ill as they are often portrayed by the world of civilized society?

Criminals are individuals who commit crimes. Criminality is defined as an act that constitutes in violation of criminal law, which is punished by the law. It is generally regarded as to be a sin and criminals are frequently viewed as being created by the Devil and out to destroy civilized people as the people of God.

There are numerous similarities between weeds and criminals. Criminals multiply in any society and society must fight hard to get rid of the criminals. Criminals are like weeds and are so formidable in their competitiveness that they hold the capability to beat civilized society. They, therefore, are combated by the whole society. However, in all societies there are crimes and criminals. We have a tendency to see at criminals as evil and unneeded, as the weeds. However, If God (Nature) has been the creator of allthings, the universe has to have been designed for a reason. “What could be the purpose of creation of criminals?” We wonder.

Criminals are as a matter of fact, the creation in the world of civilisation. In a world that is not civilized there would be no law, and there would be no lawbreakers and consequently, no criminal. If we are to appreciate the role of criminals in the modern world, it is necessary to imagine a world with no the weeds. In such a scenario the plants would require the intervention of humans using artificial watering systems – tubes, canals as well as other irrigation systems that are used for agricultural purposes. It is certain that man will only cultivate such species and plants beneficial to humans and the other species could not exist in the world of man. In addition, the energy of man is limited, and with all his efforts the man can only manage a tiny portion of the planet through artificial plantation. Therefore, the majority of the world would be devoid of plants and thus without oxygen, as well as other animals and the eco-system. It will eventually lead to the finality of the planet including humans.

The function of criminals is identical to that of weeds. Imagine a world where there is no crime i.e. everyone is a law-abiding citizen of the land and is not questioned. This will only guarantee an environment of status quo. King will always be king with only the children or beloved ones can be the kings. The poor will always be the poor. Kings are likely to create more cruel laws that will grant them more power. The poorest people will suffer from the aforementioned poverty and hunger since they would not break the law, and the government is not obliged to provide food for them. Therefore, a world without criminals would be one where people suffer from inaction or boredom. A world like this could be the most cruel and unwelcome to the human race.

The good news is that criminals are automatically a part of every civilized society when man comes up with laws that govern it. Man’s laws are constantly challenged by them as they mostly violate the natural laws i.e. equality liberty, justice, and fraternity. States are always faced with resistance from those who are in violation of laws and become referred to as criminals. They might have a shabby appearance and appear as weeds, but they provide an oxygen supply to society for the sake of its existence. Therefore, in the future, people are not able to see them as criminals, but as heroes.
